OPTOOL is a fluoropolymer containing functional groups that strong bonds with the treated substrate. It forms a nano-scale antifouling film with excellent high abrasion durability and smoothness.

Daikin Industries uses its unique fluorine synthesis and PFPE technology resulting in an effective anti-smudge coating.

After OPTOOL UD509 treatment，it adds the following characteristics to the surfaces：

• Excellent water and oil resistant. Especially anti-adhesion of oils like fingerprints and easy removability.
• Low friction surfaces (Slippery)

• Nano-scale antifouling film and does not affect optical properties
• Especially effective on glass and surfaces coated with SiO2
